We were commissioned to create an animation promoting the NSPCC’s new helpline service for adults worried about children and young people in or at risk from gangs.

Its aim is to encourage parents to call the helpline if they have any concerns about a child or young person becoming part of a gang.

We used a mixture of rotoscoping and frame by frame animation to help achieve a sense of real life and real people whilst allowing us to maintain more ambiguity and abstraction than film would.
