This short film explores the physical and sonic landscape of Catford, the area of London where our studio was based for a number of years.
We responded to field recordings with drawn animation and textures made from street rubbings and found items. The fragments of voices, rhythms of traffic, rumbles, rattles and echoes were stitched together and paired with visuals to give an impression of the environment.
Our film formed part of a group show with artists from Dek Catford and was exhibited at Ninth Life as part of Catford Arts 2019.
