After a late night staring at the computer screen, reality seems like a distant memory. The Doldrums is a strange but familiar place. Instruments and objects come to life and inhabit multi-coloured landscapes and underwater labyrinths. Floppy disks swim as phono leads sway, hands clap as xylophones collapse, keyboards divide and pixels cascade. As we float through this mysterious world, it’s wise to remember that it’s against the law to think in the doldrums.
